Two times a year, we host our Safety/Claims Education Days to provide valuable information and training; one in the Spring (March) usually held in Sacramento and one in the Fall (September) held in conjunction with California Special Districts Association’s (CSDA) annual conference. SDRMA members who attend the Education Day are eligible to earn credit incentive points (CIPs) to reduce their annual contribution amounts for both Property/Liability and Workers’ Compensation Programs.
Upcoming Fall Education Day
SDRMA will be holding our Fall Safety/Claims Education Day during the 2015 CSDA Annual Conference in Monterey September 21 – 24. SDRMA will host a full plated breakfast for all attendees on Wednesday, September 23 which will be followed by special keynote speaker, Michael Bazzell who is currently assigned to the FBI’s Cyber Crimes Task Force. He has been involved in numerous high-tech criminal investigations including online child solicitation, child abduction, kidnapping, cold-case homicide, terrorist threats, and high level computer intrusions. His previous books, “Open Source Intelligence Techniques” and “Hiding from the Internet”, have been top sellers in both the United States and Europe. They are used by several government agencies as training manuals for intelligence gathering and securing personal information.
In addition, SDRMA will be conducting several workshop sessions throughout the day. SDRMA members will earn CIP points for attending the conference.
